The city was our home town before we moved into the country. Carole was born there and Werner lived there from the time he arrived from Germany.
Toronto is a beautiful City located in the Province of Ontario in Canada. It hugs the shores of Lake Ontario. The picture below shows a view across Toronto Harbour from Toronto Island . You can clearly make out the famous CN -Tower , the tallest freestanding structure in the world. Located beside it is the Sky Dome . A stadium with a retractable roof and a seating capacity of fifty thousand . It is the home of the Toronto Blue Jays base ball club. Within a short walk is the new Air Canada Centre home of the Toronto Maple Leaf NHL hockey club and also home of the Toronto Raptors NBA basket ball club.
Toronto is Canada's largest city and the capital of the province of Ontario (not of Canada, which is Ottawa).
